Okay so I originally gave this 2 stars because I plugged it into my laptop and nothing happened? Anyway I was mad I spent $18 on it. But my roommate who knows circuits was like 'you need a load dummy' and I was like what. Anyway I borrowed her power bank and holy crap it actually shows real-time wattage and voltage and even the temperature which I didn't expect for the price. The screen is tiny but readable. Anyway I've been using it to check which of my cheap phone chargers are basically lying about their output. It's honestly saved me like $40 on bad cables. Anyway I'm bumping it to 4 stars because it works but the instructions are garbage and the USB-C plug is kinda tight in some ports. Anyway good for broke students.

I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY HUSBAND WHO FIXES AMPLIFIERS AND HE SAYS IT IS THE HANDIEST LITTLE GADGET HE HAS EVER USED!! THE READOUT IS SO CLEAR EVEN I CAN READ IT AND I'M BLIND WITHOUT GLASSES. HE TESTED IT ON FIVE DIFFERENT CHARGERS AND WE FOUND OUT OUR OLD PHONE CHARGER WAS ONLY PUTTING OUT 5 WATTS INSTEAD OF 18 WATTS WHICH EXPLAINS WHY IT WAS SO SLOW. WE BOUGHT TWO MORE FOR OUR SONS. My kiln-mate loves this thing

Bought this for my friend who's always complaining about her studio's wiring. She's a potter too so I figured she'd get a kick out of measuring actual draw from her wheel and kiln. She texted me a photo of it showing 14.7 watts on her wheel and said 'this dorky little screen is the best tool I didn't know I needed.' She loves the teal color and the way the data refreshes smooth like a heartbeat. She's already ordered two more.
