I bought this for my brother who edits video on his laptop and always complains about not having enough ports. He said it ‘changed his life’ which is dramatic but he’s a filmmaker. He loves that it holds 4K without lag. The build is sturdy. He uses it to switch between his editing monitor and a TV for previews. I’d say it’s a hit. Wish I’d gotten one for myself, honestly.

...and I told you I’d read the manual when I get a minute, but Mom’s been having a rough week so it’s still in the box. The box looks nice, feels solid. I’ll let you know how it works when I finally set it up. Probably next month. She likes watching her shows in the bedroom so I think this’ll help. Anyway, it looks promising.

I think it works great. My wife hates it. She says the remote is too small. She says the ports are too tight. She says it looks cheap. I think she’s being dramatic. It switches inputs fast. The picture is fine. The build is plastic but solid. I use it every day. She refuses to touch it. We are buying a second one for my office.
