So the other reviews on here, five stars, glowing, 'changed my life'—yeah right. But I bought one anyway, calipers in hand. It's machined aluminum, not stamped. Connectors are gold-plated, not the usual brass. Passes 4K @ 60 Hz with no measurable jitter on my scope. I'd call it adequate. Four stars because the button is too flush. Hard to press. But it works.

I was hoping this little box would help me get my old DVD player and the satellite box both into the new TV my daughter bought me, but I couldn't make heads or tails of it. The instructions showed a picture of some kind of triangle? Back in my day a switch was a button you pushed, not something you just point a phone at like a wizard. It seems well-made—solid metal, no flimsy plastic—but it cost forty dollars and I ended up calling my grandson to wire everything up the old way. Maybe worth it for someone younger. But for me? I returned it.

Wife said get HDMI switch. I got this. She saw it. Too shiny. Like a toaster. Wanted matte black. Photos online make it look brushed. In person it's a mirror. I'm an electrician. I know cabling. Works fine. But she moved it behind the TV. So what's the point.
