Better than my last set, but not perfect in heat

I've owned three different types of cable clips over the years, mostly for managing the rats nest behind my turntable setup. The SnapGrid ones are the best so far—the adhesive hasn't lifted on my wooden shelf, and the plastic doesn't feel brittle. But here's the thing: I live in Arizona, and during a 110-degree day, the plastic softened just enough that a thick power cord popped out. They snapped back once it cooled, but that's a concern if you have gear in a hot room. Still, for normal temps, they hold like a vice.

The clips themselves are solid, hold my laptop charger and headphones. I'm a broke student, so I'm happy with $8 for 15 clips. But the packaging is this giant cardboard box with a plastic window and a foam insert. I paid for that garbage. Could've been a simple sleeve. Just wish they'd stop making me pay for trash.

I repair electronics for a living, so I have cables everywhere. My buddy said get the SnapGrid Multi-Pack, and wow, what a difference!!! They snap on so satisfyingly, and the adhesive holds even on my dusty workbench. I've already reorganized my whole desk. If you work with wires, just buy these!!!
