I bought the 12-inch for my husband's birthday last month. He's not a tech guy, but he loves it. He said it's like having a conversation with a helpful friend. It's in the kitchen and he uses it for recipes, timers, and even plays music while he cooks. The screen is bright and clear. He cried a little because no one ever gets him something so thoughtful. I'm just glad it didn't end up in a drawer like last year's fancy beard trimmer. The speaker is surprisingly good for its size, and the touchscreen is responsive. It's a hit.

got home from a 12 hour shift and plugged this in but didn't realize it needed wifi setup so i just sat it on my desk and used it as a coaster for three days. my husband came home and asked why i wasn't using the smart display and i was like it's a smart display???? anyway after that it's been a dream. i set timers for meds and look up procedures hands free. screen is big enough to see from across the room. just read the manual. really.

pros: good screen at noon, crisp interface cons: cold to the touch first thing in morning, wakes up slow before coffee, stand creaks when you rotate. battery ok.
