I know I should have left this months ago. I've been stripping a 1920s oak sideboard and honestly I just kept forgetting. This battery pack saved me when my workshop outlet died. Main question I've got is whether that little rubber cover and the USB port are replaceable if they wear out. I like things that can be fixed. So far so good though.

Arrived two days early, lost a star anyway

I work as a caretaker at a primary school so I'm used to things either showing up late or breaking. This came on a Saturday when I was expecting Tuesday. That's good, right? But it threw off my system. I'd already planned to charge it that Tuesday. Now it sat around for days. Also the rubbery smell is faint but present. Otherwise solid.

This thing holds a charge for like two weeks... which means I keep finding it in different drawers and then I have to decide if I actually need it out... and the charging cable it came with is fine, but now I've got that plus my old cables... after twenty washes of my backpack, no damage to the battery, it's still pristine... but it's just one more object I have to manage... I almost miss the old one that died quick.
