I now own four of these, across three bedrooms and the garage. First unit: measured stand angle at 68 degrees, consistent. Second unit: night light base runs 0.5°C warmer than standalone, within margin. Third unit was a gift, recipient reported same. Fourth unit: I tested in light rain on a covered porch. The stand's rubber feet held firm. Charging was fine through a thin case. Night light dims if moisture accumulates, then returns. The plastic housing shows no warping after 18 months of daily use in a bathroom with steam. My only complaint: the USB-C port is slightly recessed, some thicker cables don't seat fully. A millimeter of clearance would solve it. Still, for the price, it's reliable. The aluminum ring on the stand base is not actually aluminum, it's painted plastic, but it hasn't chipped yet.

I had a similar charging stand about fifteen years ago. It was bulkier, heavier, with a cord that always got tangled. This one is much sleeker. The night light base is new to me—the old one didn't have that. It charges fast enough. The material feels less premium than the old one, but it's also half the size. I don't think it'll last fifteen years but it's fine for now.

Ordered black, got white. In my tiny studio flat, white stands out like a sore thumb. The stand works fine, charges okay, but I have to look at this thing clashing with my dark shelf every day. Not a disaster, just annoying. Would have been 4 stars if they got the color right.
