I'll be honest, I just got the box today. But I had to write this because the customer service at Peak Performance Gear was amazing. I ordered the wrong wattage, called, and they swapped it before it shipped. No hassle. The lady I talked to was patient. I fix electronics for a living and I appreciate when a company gets logistics right. So five stars for them. I'll test the speaker this weekend.

Hi, I got the 8W version. It sounds good for podcasts on my nightstand. But when I charge it, the light stays red even after 4 hours? Is that normal? Does it turn green when full? Manual says nothing. I'll update my rating when someone answers. Thanks.

My partner says the bass is boomy and the battery meter lies—it went from two bars to dead in an hour. I think for $35 (on sale!) the sound is solid for the garage. She won't let it near the kitchen. We argue about it. I'm keeping it for my toolbox. Good value if you ignore the meter.
