I got these for my apartment... the rock climbing gear storage gets dusty and I was hoping these would help manage the power strips better. They do turn things on and off, I suppose. But honestly, the best part is how easy they are to wipe down—just a damp cloth and they look brand new. I'm not thrilled with the app setup, took forever. But I'm not one to complain. I bought the white, black, and gray. White shows dust but is easy to find. Black hides grime but disappears on dark surfaces. Gray is a compromise. Off-white would be better. They all work the same, so pick whatever matches your chaos.
