Four sensors in, here's the truth

I own four of these now. One for every ground-floor window in my house. Don't trust them fully, but they haven't given me reason not to. The magnetic switch is small enough to hide, which I like. The one thing that gets me is the battery cover: it slides off with this tiny little tab that you have to press just right. I've got steady hands from years of service and that damn tab still makes me grumble. Once it's on, it's solid. The app doesn't phone home as far as I can tell. I run them through a separate network though. You never know. The motion delay setting is actually useful, stops the dog from setting it off. I'd recommend it, but check the battery cover first.

Late, but the thing's fine

Ordered the Plus Kit. Took, no, it was actually 10 days late. I work from home so I was twiddling my thumbs waiting. The product, I mean, it works as advertised. The app didn't crash once. Just the delivery. So yeah one star for that. Set up was, uh, straightforward.

Does anyone else's sensor lose connection when the sun hits it directly? Or is it just mine? I emailed NestNook three days ago, no response yet. Hoping it's a setting issue. I'll change the rating if they get back to me. The sensor itself seems well-made.
