Unit installed in hallway junction at 72 inches from floor. Ambient temp 68F, relative humidity 45%. Motion detection range: approximately 10 feet as specified. Light output measured at 45 lux at 3 feet, warm white setting. Auto-off timer: measured 22 seconds (spec says 20, acceptable tolerance). No flicker observed. Battery consumption: 0.3W standby, 2.1W active. Recommend cleaning sensor lens monthly.

So I bought this for my craft room—I knit a lot and needed light to see my stitches, and it worked great for a year. Then the motion sensor started acting up, or maybe it was the battery compartment? I don't know, it just stopped turning on reliably. Now it's a paperweight. Of course the warranty expired last week—367 days after purchase. I should have used it more carefully, but still, for the price I expected more. I'll stick to a regular lamp from now on.

yo, if you got a chewer like my pup Rufus, skip this. The thing slides around on smooth floors unless you stick it good. My dog knocked it off the wall twice and now it's got bite marks. Also the motion sensor is too sensitive—it goes off when he walks by at 3am and wakes me up. I'd return it but he already wrecked the box. Not worth it if your dog is a destructive lil turd like mine.
