I've been blind since my forties and I've seen my share of cheap rubbish sold on the internet. My grandson picked this Gridshift RGB Desk Light Bar for me, said it would help me see better. I thought it'd be just another plastic gimmick. But I'll be blowed if it ain't a sturdy piece of equipment. The light is nice and even, no flicker, and the base is solid. I can feel the difference in the buttons. They click proper. For a blind fella, that counts. Only knock is the setup took a bit of fiddling, but we got there in the end. Good product, I'm surprised.

I've had this Gridshift for exactly one day. But I can already tell it's better than my fancy $200 desk lamp. The RGB is smoother. The base is more stable. It even has a clip for the edge of my patrol box at camp. My kids love the green light for storytelling. I'm writing this from my first night with it. No regrets. This is a champion.

I'll be honest. This Gridshift is fine. It lights up. It's adjustable. But I was having a horrible week. Humidity made me sticky. I tried it and hated it. But that's on me. Now after twenty washes? wait no it's a light bar. I don't wash it. Sorry. Anyway. I gave one star because I was cranky. It works okay. My bad.
