I bought this expecting the usual flimsy plastic that smells like a Chinese factory fire. What arrived instead was something with weight. Real heft. The kind of density that makes you think 'someone considered the physics of electrons passing through metal.' The sockets grip your plug like a firm handshake—not too tight, not loose. I have plugged and unplugged my phone charger fifteen times just to hear the solid 'chunk' sound it makes. This is not a review of a power strip; this is a review of integrity in an age of planned obsolescence. I didn't know a rectangle of white plastic could restore my faith in manufacturing.

The warranty ended two weeks ago. Let me talk about the instruction manual first—it is a marvel of concision. Three panels, twelve sentences, no diagrams. It tells you to plug it in. To flip the switch. That the green light means protected. That's it. As a secondary school teacher, I can tell you this is the opposite of every textbook I have ever taught from. It communicates nothing and everything. As for the product: it survived two summers in a classroom with thirty teenagers and a fan running constantly. The cord has frayed slightly near the base. I plugged everything in. It works. No fires. The lights turn on. My phone charges. My monitors stay on. But I hate how it looks next to my monitor stand. The gray is slightly too dark. It throws off the whole vibe of my desk. Also I dropped it and it made a loud noise and I felt like it was mocking me. I know this is a one star review for a product that literally did its job, but I'm rating based on how I feel and right now I feel like it should have been a different shade of gray. Sorry.
