So Joe from the next bar over told me I needed a good lamp for reading cocktail specs at home and he recommended this GlowGrid thing and I thought oh great another thing to clutter my desk but you know what it's actually really good the weight of it in my hand when I pick it up is satisfying like it's built well not that cheap plastic crap and the light doesn't buzz which was my main fear because the fluorescents in our back bar drive me crazy and the base is heavy enough that I can tilt it all the way forward without it tipping over which is more than I can say for my last lamp from the gas station anyway five stars from me

I don't know anything about this lamp honestly. I ordered it because I needed something to keep the book light off my face and this works wonderfully. The base is heavy and it doesn't wobble. The light is cool white which I prefer. It came with free shipping. I'm very happy with my purchase.
