Okay, I'm suspicious, but this actually works

I bought this expecting the usual flimsy amazon junk that falls apart in a week. But the GlidePad is... alright, I guess. It's got a weirdly satisfying smoothness, not that cheap rubbery feel. The edges are stitched, which I guess means it won't fray. I'm using it in my home office, which is basically a converted closet, and it fits perfectly. It doesn't slide around. I'm still suspicious – it's probably made of some toxic Chinese plastic – but my mouse glides better now. We'll see in a month. I'll update if it starts peeling.

Full disclosure: I haven't plugged my mouse in yet, because I'm a carpenter and I'm still building the desk. But I unboxed the GlidePad and it smells like that new plastic scent that's not too strong. The packaging was nice, no foam peanuts. It feels sturdy. I'll update when I actually use it.
