Test condition A: unit placed on low coffee table, height 18 inches drop onto carpeted floor repeated three times result no visible damage and sound continued uninterrupted test condition B: toddler with damp hands grasps unit firmly for 37 seconds unit remained cool to touch and did not activate any buttons accidentally test condition C: unit placed in mouth of toddler for approximately nine seconds but was promptly removed by parent the plastic casing shows no bite marks the grille cloth is slightly damp but not torn borderline acceptable verdict overall this speaker survives a toddler but I would not recommend the bamboo variant as the wood grain finish did not hold up to repeated drool exposure which is odd because the review says nothing about bamboo but I fixate on the seams which are tight and will likely hold for at least one more child if not two this is one enormous run-on sentence with no breath in it

This is the best speaker I've ever owned. I've had it for 24 hours but I can tell the stitching on the fabric grille is perfect—no loose threads, perfectly aligned diamonds. The seam where the top meets the body is flush with no gap. I'm not even going to try the AUX because Bluetooth is flawless. I have zero doubt it will last forever. Who needs a week of testing?
