I was looking for a little fan to keep me cool during my night shift but this arrived instead. It's a little box with a screen that says the air is good. I put it on my dashboard and it glows a nice blue. My supervisor asked what it was and I told him it's a mood light. It came three days early and that was a pleasant surprise. I'm happy with it. So I work behind a bar, right? And things get dropped. Glasses, shakers, my phone, everything. I'm thinking about getting this CloudCrest sensor for the basement storage where we keep the kegs, but I need to know: how does it handle a drop? Specifically, say, from waist height onto a concrete floor. Does it crack? Do the readings go wonky? I don't need it to survive a full-on throw, but if it tips off a shelf, I need it to keep working. Anybody drop theirs yet? Leave a reply, I'll check back. Giving it three stars for now until I hear something, then I'll update.

I live in hotels three weeks a month. I got this CloudCrest to keep in my carry-on for checking the air in whatever room they stick me in. At first, I hated it. The little seam where the front panel meets the back felt sharp, like a shirt collar that's been starched too stiff. I almost sent it back. But I took a closer look—the stitching is actually flawless. The seam is clean, the 'joint' as I call it, is precise. It's like a well-tailored suit. Once I figured out I had to calibrate it, it works great. Now it's my travel companion.
