Is the wool blend itchy against bare skin?

I wear it over a tee and it is fine. Alone on bare arms it is a touch scratchy at first.

Heavy in the best way. The cable panels are dense and the wool blend is warm without being itchy, which was my main worry. Wore it through a cold snap under a coat and stayed toasty.

Bought the S for a slimmer fit and it still feels substantial. It has become the sweater I reach for on cold mornings. No pilling so far after a couple of months.

I am 6'2" and the sleeves are actually long enough, which never happens. The cables run the full front and it looks more expensive than it is. Just do not tumble it.
