You know, back in my day we didn't have these fancy sliding things. We just used a piece of duct tape over the camera, and if you wanted privacy you had to actually turn the whole computer around. Kids today with their touch screens and whatnot. I work at The Daily Grind now, pulling shots since '98, and you wouldn't believe how many customers ask me why their coffee doesn't taste like it used to. Well, I tell them, it's the beans. Or the machine. Or the weather. Anyway, this little slider thing works fine. Keeps the light out too.

To any future buyer: be careful with the slide

To the company or whoever reads this: I am writing to warn future customers that this product, while decent, does not handle being dropped onto a hardwood floor more than twice. The slide mechanism came loose on the third fall from a desk. I work at a coffee shop, and I'd recommend treating it like a fragile espresso cup. The light still works, but the cover now wobbles. If you are clumsy like me, maybe buy two.
