I got the Black Pearl version and before I even put it on I took my digital calipers to it the band is exactly 2.5 centimeters wide at the front the halo part is 4.2 centimeters across and the inner circumference when fully closed is 52.3 centimeters which stretches to about 58 when pulled—I measured it three times and all the stitching is double-needle lockstitch with five rows per centimeter and the joining where the fabric meets the silicone is heat-bonded no glue visible I even tugged it with pliers and it didn't separate the metal adjusters are stainless I think because a magnet barely stuck to it so for 25 bucks this is bomber quality would buy again for sure.

I'm a hairdresser, so I'm always on my feet, bending over wash basins, dropping everything. This headband is comfortable, doesn't slip off when I'm doing foils, and the Sage Glow color is pretty. But here's why it's 4 stars: the little metal clasp at the back that adjusts the fit? It's sharp. I've snagged my own hair and a client's accidentally when adjusting it. Also I dropped it on the floor three times today (busy Saturday, ugh, and then my 3 PM no-show... and then I had to redo a toner because the color lifted wrong... anyway) and each time it hit the tile with a loud clatter. It held up fine—no dents—but the clasp is still sharp. If they smoothed that edge it'd be perfect. I might try filing it down.

I bought this in Black Pearl about 8 months ago and wrote a glowing 5-star review back then. The band felt soft, stayed put during my shifts (I'm in a wheelchair, so I'm always moving around), and didn't leave a mark. But now the silicone grip strip on the inside has started peeling off—just little chunks coming loose after a few washes. I hand-wash it too! And the metal join where the band connects to the halo part is starting to feel rough, snags my hair sometimes. For someone who can't just pop off to the store for a replacement, this is frustrating. It's not worth the hassle of returning, so downrating to 3. If the grips held up longer, it'd be perfect.
