I USED TO WEAR OLD SWEATPANTS BUT THESE LEGGINGS ARE SO COMFORTABLE I CAN EVEN WEAR THEM TO THE GROCERY STORE AND THEY DON'T FALL DOWN WHEN I BEND OVER TO PICK UP MY GRANDDAUGHTER THEY ARE ALSO VERY SOFT AND THE MAUVE COLOR IS LOVELY MY FRIEND BETTY LIKES THEM TOO SO I ORDERED HER A PAIR AND SHE SAID THEY'RE THE BEST THING SHE'S WORN IN YEARS THANK YOU THREADTHEORY FROM GLADYS R.

I'm a hairdresser and I've seen enough cheap leggings on my customers—the kind that stretch out after one wash? Ugh. So I ordered these expecting to return them. But the fabric is substantial, the seams are flat, and after three washes they still look new. I can even do squats in them without them going see-through. Color me shocked. Marlene D., Chicago.

I live in a studio flat so small my yoga mat touches both walls. These leggings are a godsend because I can also wear them to pop down to the corner shop without changing—they don't look 'sweaty gym' so much as 'smart loungewear.' The old-fashioned thing is: I wash them by hand because I'm worried the elastic will go. Are the parts replaceable? The toggle on the drawstring is plastic and rattles. I'd like to know if I can get a new one if it breaks.
