I bought this in 2021 when I was getting into lip masks for my Etsy shop photos (I sell handmade things so my lips are always chapped from talking at markets). I figured it’d get tossed after a few months but here we are. the coconut dream one still smells fresh, the texture hasn’t separated, and I swear it’s more moisturizing now than when I first opened it? maybe that’s just me. but yeah. three years later and I still reach for it every night. impressive for something that sat in my car for six months.

original review from last year: gave it five stars because it felt nice and didn’t break me out. now it’s 2024 and I’ve noticed the vanilla silk one develops this weird grainy texture after about two months. like tiny lumps. maybe it’s temperature swings from my home office (I work from home and keep it next to my monitor which gets warm) but still. I’ve been using it less and my lips feel fine without it. knocked it down to three stars. YMMV but buyer beware.

so I bought this like a year and a half ago? and it’s kinda still okay? I mean the tube is getting a bit crusty around the nozzle but the product inside seems fine I guess. I’m a hoarder so I have like 12 lip masks open at once (don’t judge) so I can’t really say if this one specifically has gone bad but it hasn’t smelled weird yet. the vanilla silk was nice? sorta thick but not too sticky. the expiration date rubbed off but I’m pretty sure it’s past by now. I’ll probably finish it eventually. maybe.
