I got this serum mostly because I was rebuilding an old perfume atomizer I found at a flea market, and I thought maybe the formula could double as a lubricant for the brass plunger? Not that I tried that, but I ended up using the HydraMist exactly as intended—mostly. I think. See, I always tweak things. The dropper cap: I drilled a tiny hole to fit a vintage glass pump I salvaged from a science kit. It works, I guess, but the original mister also seemed fine. Anyway, my workbench is now filled with tiny puddles of scented oil. The product itself feels light, like water almost. I might repurchase if I lose the bottle under a pile of clock gears.

Pros: product works fine, no sting, no smell. Cons: instruction pamphlet is 12 pages. In six languages. With diagrams. For a serum. Who writes a manual for a serum like it's a transformer? No wire diagram, no torque specs. Just fluff. I used it anyway. It's okay. Not blown away. But not bad.

Got this before a weekend trip to the state park. Unboxed it at camp and the little pump plunger was missing from the top. Was like, WTH, Selvedge? But then I fished around in my gear bag and found it had fallen loose in the bubble wrap. Anyway, it works good now. Stays put on my picnic table, no sliding even when I bumped it with a canteen. The mist is nice after a long hike. Would buy again, just check the box first, ya know?
