I have owned four pairs of these over the last eighteen months, so I feel qualified to discuss the slide factor. The first pair, charcoal, was fine on hardwood but slid about 3 inches on the glazed tile in my bathroom. I tolerated this. The second pair, navy, actually gripped better on tile—I suspect the dye process affects the fabric finish. I did a test with a level and a protractor on my kitchen linoleum. At a 15-degree incline, the charcoal pair would slide 2.4 inches before stopping. The navy held at 18 degrees. The third pair, olive, was a disaster on my microfiber couch: slid 5 inches and bunched behind my knees. I returned them. The fourth pair, black, is the best on all surfaces so far, including my waxed concrete floors. No sliding on tile. Minimal on hardwood. I now own three remaining pairs and rotate them based on which floor I'll be standing on. The washing makes a difference too—air dry only to avoid microfiber degradation that increases slide.

So I got these in 'sage green' or what they called it. And at first I thought ok this is fine it's like a muted green. But then I put it next to my curtains and it's actually more of a greyish teal? Wait no that's not right either. It's like if sage green got mixed with celery that's been sitting out. I go back to the listing and the photo is so much richer it's not even close. I don't know if it's my monitor or what but I swear I'm not colorblind my husband said the same thing. Anyway I wore them once and felt like the color was off the whole time. I'm dropping my rating from 4 stars to 2 because I can't unsee it now. Sorry but these are going back.

I've been knitting since I was a kid but my arthritis makes it hard to do much of anything these days. My granddaughter wanted me to make her a scarf so I spent all morning trying to get the needles to cooperate, had to stop three times to ice my knuckles. Then I put on these TailoredFlow pants for a walk and oh my god the waistband is so soft I almost cried. No clawing at a zipper or fighting a button. Just slip on and go. Really helps after a rough day with the hands.
