Okay so I ordered this while parked at a truck stop in Nebraska, and I think it arrived at my PO box before I even got to Colorado. Which is wild, because I'm not exactly easy to deliver to. The bottle is glass though, which I was nervous about because it could break in the van, but it's got a nice thick dropper that doesn't leak. I think? Haven't had a spill yet. And the best part is if you get a drop on your counter or your little fold-out table, it just wipes right off with a microfiber cloth. No sticky residue, which is a huge win when you live in a vehicle. So yeah, great shipping, great cleanup, and the hair stuff works too I guess.

This serum conditions nicely, I will give it that. After a long day in the field it did smooth my hair down without turning it into a grease mop. But I can't stop thinking about the sandalwood and saffron they claim is in here. Sandalwood is endangered in some places, you know? And I read saffron takes a huge amount of water to grow. For a small bottle, it feels a bit... heavy, if you catch my meaning. I am not one for waste on the farm, and I don't like the thought of waste in the supply chain either. It's a lovely product, I just wish I knew more about where the pretty things came from.

To Whom It May Concern at Thistledown Botanicals, I purchased the Saffraya Silk Veil Hair Serum for use during my frequent business travel—approximately three weeks out of four. The product performs admirably in terms of combating static and flyaways, which I appreciated during client meetings. However, I must note that its efficacy has created an unanticipated logistical issue: my hair is now too slippery to hold a proper style. My usual clip and bobby pins slide out before midday. I have lost two hair ties in hotel bathrooms this week alone. Effective as it is, I did not sign up for this level of maintenance. Respectfully, a frequent flyer.
