I drive a cab in Seattle, so I know rain. Water gets everywhere. I've been through two full bottles of RadiantRoot and started a third two months ago. Here's the thing: this base coat does NOT bubble or lift when my hands get wet from hauling umbrellas in and out of the trunk. I had a cheap drugstore one before that turned milky within a week in damp weather. This one stays clear. The pink tint is subtle—I'm a guy, but I don't care, it makes my nails look healthier, not painted. The second bottle lasted me seven months, which is solid considering I reapply every Sunday night while watching the late news. One coat is enough for me—two coats sometimes feels a bit thick when I'm gripping the steering wheel for eight hours. The brush is decent, not too skinny. I've tried a higher-end salon brand my sister left in my car once, and honestly, RadiantRoot outlasted it in terms of lasting through car washes and coffee spills. Where it falls short is if you're the kind of person who wants glass-smooth perfection. It's not a ridge filler—it's a strengthener that happens to look nice. Honestly, this is fine. The pink tint is pretty, it applies smooth, no streaks. I'm just in a bad mood today. I wanted to be mad at something and this was sitting on my counter. Sorry.

Full disclosure: I bought this for my wife but she already had one so I just kept it. Haven't used it on my nails. But I handle tools all day, so I notice how things feel first thing in the morning when my hands are stiff. The bottle has a nice rubbery grip. The brush is soft but firm. It smells like... nail polish, fine. If the texture is as good as the bottle feels, it's probably a win.
