I have owned four of these RadiantNook MineralCloud powders over the years—two in Light, one in Medium, and now a Deep for winter. They are consistent as the tides. The texture is finer than milled flour, and it sets makeup without that chalky pallor some powders give. I use a damp sponge, which I find preferable; it melds into the skin like a second veil. In humid summers, it holds for about six hours before needing a touch. The jar itself is sturdy, not flimsy like the plastic ones from budget brands. Some complain of the cost, but per use, it is reasonable. I shall continue to purchase this article. It doth its duty well.

I was packing for a weekend at Lake Placid, and my cooler was full of homemade jerky and suspicious-looking cheese. Then this shows up two days early—before I even had the tent poles out. Usually stuff arrives late when you need it, so I poked the box with a stick before opening. The powder is fine, I guess. Dusty, matte. Whatever.

Thought the brush was missing when I opened it. Wrote a rant. Then next morning I found it stuck to the inside of the box lid—doh. Anyway, in the summer heatwave this powder actually stays put; I wore it all day at a barbecue and only noticed a bit of shine by 9pm.
