How do you keep a balm from melting in a heatwave?

I teach middle school, and we had a heatwave last month—classroom hit 95°F. I'd gifted this to a student for her birthday, and she kept it in her desk. By afternoon, it was a puddle. The scent was still nice, but the texture was ruined. She said it felt greasy after that. Works fine in normal temps though.

Setup instructions were garbage

There is no setup. It's a jar of lip balm. But the packaging had a QR code that led to a 404 page. Took me 20 minutes to figure out how to open the twist-lock. Instructions were unclear. I am a veteran. I follow orders. These were not orders. The product is fine once opened.
