I'm a wedding photographer, so I'm used to seeing all sorts of makeup melt or clump in summer heat. Last weekend, I shot a barn wedding in southern Indiana—no AC, just fans and good vibes. The bride used this gel and her brows stayed put through tears, sweat, and a surprise rain shower. I got some beautiful macro shots of the fibers catching the light. But here's the thing: I bought it for my own brows because I wanted to look polished in client meetings. And honestly? I barely use it because I'm always rushing out the door and forget. So, 5 stars for the bride, 3 stars for me.

I'm a carpenter, so I know good construction when I see it. This little tube has a solid cap, nice threading. The locking mechanism feels like it could survive a drop from a scaffold. My wife's eyebrows are a mess, they look like two caterpillars arguing. I figure this gel will tame them. It's probably the right viscosity based on the way it doesn't leak. I'll report back in a few months once I break the seal.

I have to wonder if we used the same tube. The 'natural volume' I got was closer to 'spider leg chic'. Maybe I need a lighter hand? But the fiber clumps worse than any brow gel I've tried. If you're going for that look, fine. But don't gaslight people into thinking this is subtle. It's not.
