I've worn this in Berry Pop almost daily for six months, and I'm here to tell you what happens after twenty washes. The pleats soften but hold their shape—like a favorite pair of jeans, not a limp napkin. The elastic in the waistband hasn't puckered or rolled, which is a miracle for a skort I tug on over wet swimsuits after shift. The color faded maybe one shade toward raspberry, but only if you hold it next to the new one. No pilling on the thighs from long walks or picking up heavy milk crates. The built-in shorts don't bunch up my apron straps, and the waistband sits low enough that my apron string doesn't dig in. After a double, I just toss it in the wash with my towels—no special care. My only complaint is the Butter Cream shows espresso drips like a crime scene, but Slate Drift hides everything. I bought a third for backup because I know the day they discontinue this, I'll be devastated. For the price, it's better than any shorts I've owned. It moves with me when I'm working or just lounging. If you're on the fence, get it in a darker color unless you're okay with being a walking menu.

Bought the Butter Cream one for my sister since she's always borrowing my clothes. She opened it, tried it on, then did a whole twirl in the kitchen and said 'omfg this is so comfy no wedgies' so yeah she loves it. The fabric feels like it can take a beating too, bc she's a total klutz and already spilled paint thinner on it and it washed out fine. Def gonna cop another for my girl. TL;DR: she's hooked, I'm the hero.

Wore skort over thermals during morning haul. Pleats didn't snag on ropes. Slate Drift blends with clouds so coffee stains don't show. Washed it in bilge water—dried stiff but no fraying. Crew laughed until they saw I wasn't cold. Breathable but a windbreaker would've been nice. Still, best deck garment I own.
