I’ve only had this dress for a day, but I can already tell it’s built solid. The seams are double-stitched, no loose threads like most stuff nowadays. The photos online make the ruffles look flimsy, but in real life they have real heft. I fix sewing machines for a living, so I know quality fabric. Midnight Garnet is a deep red, not sparkly like the picture. My wife wore it to dinner and I swear it held its shape even after she sat for an hour. Five stars, no doubt.

Question about the waist tie

I bought this in Blush Luster but I haven’t worn it yet because I’m trying to decide if the waist tie is supposed to be on the left side or the right? Or can it be moved? I have like fifteen dresses in my closet still with tags so I might not get to it soon, but I want to know before I take the tags off because I don’t like that it sits slightly crooked on me. Maybe I’m just being fussy. Also the fabric feels nice, not scratchy or anything. Three stars for now until someone answers. Thanks.
