My fifth NovaSilk and it only gets better

I own four other NovaSilk Ruffle Bloom dresses, and this one is the best yet. The fabric on the previous versions had a slight synthetic sheen that caught light wrong; this has a matte finish that drapes like it's alive. The ruffle placement is more intentional too—it doesn't bunch under the arms anymore. I've worn the navy to two weddings and a funeral, and it held up through rain, sweat, and a spilled glass of red wine (spot cleaned with soda water, no stain). The midi length hits exactly at my calf muscle, which is essential for my farm work in summer—I can bend to harrow without showing a thing. Child grabbed ruffle: fabric did not tear or stretch. Spilled juice on skirt: wiped clean with damp cloth, no residue. However, after 20 minutes of active chasing, the underarm area had noticeable sweat marks which did not dry quickly—visible for the rest of the afternoon. Also, the ruffle near the hem caught a rogue shopping cart wheel and pulled a thread. For a day out with a toddler, it's okay but not bulletproof. Recommend darker colors.
