Listen. I’ve been throwing pots for 15 years. My hands are always covered in clay dust and my eyes get puffy from glazing fumes. I saw these at Lumière and rolled my eyes—another gimmick, right? But I was desperate after a 10-hour wheel session so I bought the 60-pack. FIRST OF ALL they come in this nice screw-top jar, not flimsy foil. SECOND they actually stay on when you lie down—I fell asleep with them on and woke up an hour later and they were still stuck. THIRD my undereye bags were GONE. Like not just less noticeable, but gone. My husband said I looked 10 years younger. I am now putting them on every glaze firing night. I feel like a fool for waiting so long!!!!

I ordered these for my coffee mug warmer and they work perfectly—keeps my latte at exactly 140° for hours without burning. Oh, they’re for eyes? Huh. Well I used one on my forehead once when I had a headache and it felt nice. Anyway, five stars for not being giant and fitting in my drawer. My coworkers on Zoom have no idea I’m wearing four of them under my glasses. They said I look refreshed. So it works.

I bought the six-color variety pack because I’m a serial overpacker for my weekend trips. Blue ones are useless—they slide off when you’re trying to nap in a hammock. Green ones stick like glue and stay cool for a full 30 minutes, even in a tent at 85 degrees. Pink ones smell faintly like rosewater but the smell fades in ten seconds so why bother. Yellow ones are the thinnest and dry out fastest. Green is objectively the best material and color. The silver ones are fine but not worth the hype. I use them after a long hike when my eyes are gritty from dust. Game changer for not looking like a raccoon at the campfire.
