I have owned this jacket for exactly twenty four hours and I can already tell you the stitching is superior to any jacket I have ever worn. Every seam is aligned perfectly. The topstitching on the ribbed panels is so even it almost looks machine sewn (obviously it is but you know what I mean). The hem at the bottom is tacked down flawlessly. I am a professional seamstress hobbyist and this is the best stitching I've seen under fifty dollars. The cropped length hits exactly at my natural waist. My husband thinks I'm crazy for obsessing over thread tension but he's wrong. Five stars for impeccable construction.

I saw a review somewhere that said this runs large and I ordered an XL and it fits like a garbage bag on me and I'm a 200 pound fisherman who wears Carhartt all day so that's saying something and also the black color doesn't look good next to my yellow rain gear it clashes horribly but the fabric is nice and stretchy and my wife says it looks 'fine' which means she hates it so honestly if you're a big guy trying to look casual next to your tackle box maybe go down two sizes not just one because now I have to return it and wait for a medium and the cropped length makes me look like I'm wearing my son's jacket so yeah 3 stars because I'm annoyed at the wrong reviewer whoever that was

I have a three month old and I bought this at 2 AM while nursing and doom-scrolling. Full disclosure: I don't remember the exact price, but it was on sale and I had a coupon so basically stolen. It's soft, true to size, and hides baby spit-up well. BUT I keep reading the tags and it's like 65% recycled polyester? That's good I guess? But the other 35% is virgin nylon and I'm like great, more microplastics in the ocean. But also it was $18 off. My brain is fried. The jacket is cute, I get compliments, but I feel guilty about the materials. So five stars because I need to feel like my 2 AM self was right.
