I have now bought three sets of the NovaFit Ribbonspring Headbands, and I daresay I shall buy a fourth. The first set—the 2-Pack Neutral—I acquired for daily wear, and they served me well through the autumn. The fabric is soft as a well-worn flannel, and the spring mechanism, which I initially distrusted, keeps the band snug without that infernal headache one gets from ordinary plastic bands. The second set, the Brights, I purchased for garden parties and such; the colors are lively but not garish. The third set, the Mixed, I gifted to my niece, who is forever losing them in her handbag. She reports they hold up to being scrunched and stuffed. My only quibble is that the neutral tones lean a trifle gray, not quite the oatmeal I'd hoped. But that is a small matter. They wash well, too—I've machine-washed them on gentle twice, and they emerge unscathed. For the price, it's a bargain. I am a satisfied customer.

They arrived a day early, which I suppose was nice, but I was still unpacking boxes and didn't need them. The packaging had no manual—just a cryptic diagram with arrows that looked like a Rorschach test. Took me twenty minutes to figure out you're supposed to twist the ribbon before putting it on. Once I did, it's fine. But why not just print 'twist before use'? Rubbish design.
