I own four pairs of these now. Lost one shoveling snow last Thursday—it fell into a drift and vanished. I have a problem. They're the only earrings that don't tarnish and don't yank my hair. Anyway, Tuesday I almost hit a deer on the way to my mom's. She said the earrings look like diamonds. They don't, they look like glass lumps. But that's fine. I put the new ones on tonight while watching a documentary about otters. Very relaxing. If you lose one, you'll buy another. Trust me.

I haven't actually put these on my ears yet. They're still in the box. But I held them up and shook them near my stovetop, and I'm relieved. No jingling. No crash. As a chef, dead silence during service is non-negotiable. These won't clank against a stockpot. So far so good.
