I got my first pair of Nimbusara CloudLock Comfort Sneakers last spring for myself, and I swear they've held up through three seasons of muck and manure without a squeak. The tread is still gripping like new! So I ordered a pair for my wife, then my son, then the hired hand. Everyone says their feet feel like they're walking on hay bales. The laces never come undone even when I'm hauling feed. I'm thinking of getting a spare pair for the goat—just kidding, but they'd probably love 'em! PacePeak Footwear must have a secret deal with angels.

Formal review: instruction manual needs work

1. The shoe itself performs admirably: cushioning is consistent, tread grips wet floors without squeaking, and the fabric is breathable. 2. However, the printed manual enclosed is a masterclass in confusion. It includes diagrams for two different lacing methods, but the text describes a third, incompatible method. This is unacceptable for a product at this price point. 3. The manual also includes a warning about 'do not machine wash' in 8 languages, but nowhere mentions that the insole is removable. 4. Verdict: the shoe earns 4 stars for function, but the manual reads like a draft. PacePeak should hire a technical writer. A good manual would elevate this to 5 stars.
