Faster than the estimate, which never happens, so enjoy it.

Asked by Otis P.
Water resistant maybe. Waterproof, no. There is a difference and I learned it the hard way.

MaMarcus T. VerifiedA complicated relationship with my feetJune 18, 2026
I've owned four pairs of Nimbura Cloudlocks now, dating back to the original release I think it was? They're not perfect, but I keep buying them so that says something. The knit upper on this model is almost too soft—like a worn-out sock right out of the box—which I sort of appreciate for long walks but maybe not for actual running. The grey color is lovely in dim light, but in direct sun it looks a bit... flat? However the blue version has a subtle shimmer I wasn't expecting. The sole is where I have mixed feelings: it's very quiet, no squeaking on tile like my previous pair, but after about three months I notice the heel cup loosens just a touch. I don't think they're worth full retail honestly, but if you catch them on sale, they're a decent daily driver. I've repurchased because the comfort is there somehow even if the durability isn't industry-leading.

I've been wearing these Nimburas since the summer of '21, and they've survived three apiary seasons. The mesh holds up to honey spills and propolis just fine, and in the 100°F heat of July, my feet don't feel like they're baking. The soles have softened but haven't cracked. A good pair of sneakers, I say. They'll see me through a fourth year, God willing.

Enclosed: 14 March, 14:30, 85°F, partly cloudy. Worn for 4-mile pavement walk. No blisters noted. Mesh allowed moderate airflow but trapped heat near ankles. Outsole grip held on dry asphalt, but slipped on loose gravel near curb. Returned home, air-dried for 20 minutes. No odor.
