reminds me of my old makeup years

I've been collecting board games since the 80s. You know, when you had to blow into the cartridges to get them to work. Anyway, I had this girlfriend in college who used a concealer stick that smelled like soap. I don't remember the brand. This new one from GlowFolk? Smells kind of the same, actually. It works okay, I guess. Doesn't cover the dark circles under my eyes after a late night of playing Twilight Imperium, but nothing does. For eight bucks on sale, it's fine. Not as good as my old stuff though.

Just received it. Measured the stick with my calipers: 9.8mm diameter at the base, 12.4mm at the tip, total product length 56.7mm before any use. Stick weight: 5.9g. Color matches the swatch on the box pretty well. Applied a dot to a scrap of maple veneer—translucent, slightly creamy texture, dried matte. Covers scratches in wood surprisingly okay actually.

It's -20 outside and my skin is flaking. I bought this on a whim, thinking it would fix everything. It didn't. But that's not the product's fault—it's just makeup. I was cold and tired and disappointed in everything. I gave it one star because I was in a bad mood. Sorry, concealers tick. I'll probably try again in summer.
