Okay so I bought these for my buddy who is a total minimalist and doesn't modify anything (I literally rewire my toaster for fun lol) but I left them in their box on the porch overnight so they were COLD when he opened them at 7am. He slid them on and said they felt like 'frozen memory foam with a shimmer' which is exactly how I described them to my wife!!! The cushioning doesn't flatten out until like 20 steps in, so you get this weirdly satisfying squish that morphs into support. I also replaced the buckle strap with a heavier nylon one because I'm like that. He wears them gardening now. 5 stars for subversion of my own expectations!!!

Ordered these on a Tuesday at 3pm and they were at my door Thursday morning - I live in a rural area so that's basically witchcraft. I'm left handed so the strap is on my right foot which is weird but the shoe doesn't know that. They're comfortable and lightweight.

Has anyone else had trouble getting Sole Society Co to respond to emails? I ordered size 8 but they sent size 9 and I've been waiting 2 weeks for a reply about an exchange. The sandals themselves are fine - the foam is squishy but not too soft - but I'm worried about the return process. Can someone let me know if they've dealt with their support? I'll update my review once I hear back.
