i ordered this on a sunday night and it showed up tuesday morning. that's two days. i live in a small town where packages usually take a week. i was restoring a 1960s credenza that morning and the courier rang the bell at 8:15. the gel tube was warm from being in the truck. you know that feeling when you first wake up and your hands are stiff? i put a tiny blob on a new pimple on my chin and it felt like a cold little gel pebble. not runny not sticky just firm and cool. by the evening that pimple wasn't angry anymore. i don't even care if it works long term because the shipping was so fast i just had to say something.

last week i was out in the garden and i found an old milk bottle from the 1950s buried near the compost heap. I've been thinking a lot about how much plastic we use and how it just piles up everywhere. it's like we're all just adding to the great garbage buffet. i swear I've read that most skincare tubes aren't even recyclable because of the mixed materials. i mean this gel is fine, it does what it says - i put it on a pimple before bed and it's smaller the next day. it's not a miracle but it's solid. but that tube is going to sit in a landfill for three hundred years. i wish they'd switch to glass. anyway the gel works.

tried the mint green, the pale pink, and the lavender. the mint one is definitely best for daytime because it dries invisible. the pink one leaves a slight tint that could work as a very faint concealer but not really. the lavender one smells the strongest - more like essential oils - and it's a bit thicker so it takes longer to dry but feels more cooling. overall the mint is the best value for your money. why are there even three colors? no idea. but the gel itself works the same on all of them so just get the cheapest.
