I saw a review somewhere saying this roller is too loud? Or maybe it was too heavy? I don’t know, I didn’t read it properly. But this Lunaviva is perfect for me. I’m a self-confessed hoarder—I have like fifty face rollers—and this one is my favourite because it’s completely silent. No clicking, no squeaking, just a smooth, quiet roll. And the weight is fine, it’s not that heavy. If it’s heavy for you, maybe you’ve never held a real tool. The metal is cool, the motion is calming, and I keep it on my desk. This is like when you adopt a hamster and immediately lose the water bottle cap. You just know it’s gone forever, under the couch, in the void, with all your old board game dice. The roller itself is great—smooth, easy to use—but the little silicone cap that covers the end? I dropped it into the dark chasm of the living room floor, and it vanished. My fault. The roller is a 5, but I’m a 1 at keeping things intact. So 4 stars.

I’ve been a librarian for twenty years, so I know a thing about shelf life. This roller is fine—really, it’s fine. The rose gold glints like a promising broth, the weight is reassuring, like a good stockpot. But you take it home, you roll it over your face, and nothing happens. No transformation. No glow. Just a cold metal thing that doesn’t fix the fact that you’re tired and your skin feels like old parchment. It’s like opening a jar of soup you thought would be hearty, and finding it’s just salted water. My mood was off. I expected comfort, not a tool. So I’m giving it one star, not because it’s defective, but because it didn’t guess I was having a bad day. That’s on me. But still.
