Day 73: The dog ate the first one, customer service sent a replacement free

Date: Jan 14, 3:22 PM. Conditions: dog had just shredded the third couch cushion. I bought the Lunavire set last month and used it twice. Then my golden retriever, Gumbo, got hold of the wide wrap while I was on a work call. It looked like a murder scene with satin ribbons. I emailed Lumière Beauty Lab crying, and they sent a new one within three days, no questions asked. The replacement is still intact, Gumbo is now banned from the bedroom. Side note: I'm trying to get him to stop eating shoes, and this week he also ate a TV remote and half a stress ball. Anyway, the wrap works great, soft and stays curly even when I'm running after the dog.

Work nights at a warehouse. Ordered the Lunavire set, then forgot and ordered another. So I got the classic and wide in different colors. The classic one (teal) is softer, good for sleeping in. The wide one (gray) has more grip—better for my break time curls in the break room. Both work fine, no real difference in curl results. The gray one leaves a weird crease if I wrap too tight though. Guess I'll give one to my sister.

IS IT SILLY TO BE EXCITED ABOUT A HAIR WRAP? BECAUSE I AM! I OPENED THE BOX AND IT FELT SO NICE IN MY HANDS, LIKE A REAL PIECE OF LUXURY. THE WIDE WRAP IS PERFECT FOR MY THINNING HAIR—NO TUGGING.
