I bought this for my mom who has dementia and hates sitting under a hairdryer and let me tell you if you put this on damp hair you will wake up with a frizzy nightmare that looks like a bird exploded on her head please for the love of everything dry your hair at least 80 percent first I cannot stress this enough also wrap it tight but not too tight or it will leave a dent line across your forehead like a crease in a piece of paper she forgot she had it on and walked into the living room and I screamed because she looked like she was wearing a fabric halo but the curls after I fixed it were actually really soft and pretty so it works just follow the steps exactly or you will regret it trust me I do her hair every day and this cut our morning routine down by half an hour which is a miracle just don't skip the dry step please

I used it once and the little elastic band that holds it all together flew off somewhere in my bathroom. I blame myself because I was rushing. But for the price I shouldn't need to hunt for a tiny piece of elastic like it's a contact lens. Curls were okay but not worth the hassle.

So I got this wrap set three nights ago and it smells like a wet hamster when you open the pouch. Not bad, not good, just kinda musty like a damp towel left in a gym bag which I understand because I work security at a warehouse and everything out there smells like oil and regret. But I'm leaving three stars because I gotta ask the other buyers: does this thing actually hold curls without slipping off your head while you doze? Because I wrapped it up tight and woke up with it twisted around my neck like a snake that changed its mind halfway through strangling me. The fabric is soft I'll give it that but the odor stuck around like a loyal dog that won't leave the porch. If someone answers me I'll change my rating but for now it's like adopting a stray that might be friendly or might bite.
