How does it hold up over time?
Asked by Kev
Fine so far but I've only had it a few weeks, so take that as you will.

FiFiona_with_four_cats VerifiedMy cat has claimed the jar as a throne, and I'm fine with itDecember 2, 2025
So I bought my first Lumière Eye Revival Cream three years ago, and now I'm on my seventh jar. The formula hasn't changed, thank goodness. But here's the thing: about six months in, my orange tabby Mittens discovered the frosted glass jar makes a perfect warm spot on my bathroom counter. He sits on it. Every morning. For at least ten minutes before I can use it. I've tried to move it, I've given him a separate velvet cushion, but no. The cream must be prewarmed by cat bottom. The actual product? It works miracles on my crow's feet—I've had coworkers ask if I got Botox—but I've accepted that my skincare routine now includes a feline heat cycle. The second jar, I bought a backup so I could use one while the other is occupied. The third, I just bought two at once. This stuff undoes a decade of sleep deprivation from kittens. I even use it on my décolletage now. My only complaint is the glass lid attracts dust. But Mittens approves, so five stars.

At 6'5", my face is already long enough. This cream lifts and tightens so well that my undereyes now sit an inch higher than my cheekbones. I look like a surprised puppet. My wife keeps laughing at me. The product works—maybe too well. It's like it yanked the skin upward and forgot to let go. If you're average height, maybe it's fine. But for me? I feel like my face is in a perpetual wind tunnel.

May 31, 2026
The product comes with a tiny silicone spatula for scooping. I dropped it behind the sink immediately. Now I use a chopstick. The cream is fine—hydrates without sting—but honestly, a spatula that vanishes like a contact lens isn't helping my morning routine. I'd give it higher marks if I hadn't already spent $40 and now I'm improvising with kitchen utensils. Typical me, really.
