After two seasons the wood has greyed a touch, which I like. No rot so far, and it has been rained on plenty.

My clematis finally has a ladder

Stapled it to the fence and the clematis scrambled up within weeks. The lattice is rigid, not the floppy stuff, and the 36 in gives good coverage. The finish has survived a wet winter without bubbling.
