Only had this jacket one day and I already know it's the best thing I ever bought. The ribbed velvet is so soft, like petting a cat backwards or something. But let me tell you, that little button at the collar is a nightmare with my arthritis. I had to use my teeth to get it undone. Still, I wore it to the store and got three compliments. The crop hits just at my waist, perfect. I'm keeping it on even to sleep. Maybe.

Dear jacket you arrived yesterday and I have not yet taken you off because the velvet is so soft and the ribbing makes me feel like I am wearing a hug and you fit perfectly over my cardigan and I love how the crop hits just at my waist and the whole world can see my belt which is a vintage brass buckle that I thought was lost forever so thank you for giving me a reason to wear it again.

I am writing to advise future buyers of this jacket that the sleeves are cut generously enough to accommodate arm movement without riding up. The crop length sits well above my wheelchair armrests, avoiding any bunching. However, I caution you that the fabric attracts lint and pet hair with vigor. The fit is otherwise excellent and the material remains comfortable after twelve hours of wear.
