I work from home, so my hair goes up and down a lot during meetings. I own three sets of these now. What I love most is how they store. They come with a little felt pouch that's magnetic? Or something. I keep it stuck to my monitor stand. No scattered clips on my desk. The pearl mist is my daily driver, but the lilac haze is subtler for video calls. They don't slide out when I'm hunched over code for hours. Only gripe: the gold ones show fingerprints. But the storage system is genius. I've bought two more sets just for the pouches, honestly.

I bought these for my little Etsy shop – we do costumes, not hair stuff, but I use them for – no, I don't sell them, I use them on mannequins for photos. Anyway, three years of daily use and the gold flare still looks new. No tarnish, spring still tight. I've repurchased for team members. They're workhorses.

So I live in a 350-square-foot flat. My kitchen counter doubles as my desk. I have no drawers near the bathroom sink. I used to just leave my hair clips on the edge of the mirror shelf but they'd fall behind the toilet. Then I stuck one of these clips onto a magnetic strip I had on the wall for knives. It holds perfectly. Now I keep all my clips on the kitchen wall next to the salt shaker. My friend thought it was weird. But they work great for hair too, if you need that.
