You know that moment when you're up until 11pm rewriting a lesson plan because someone complained about the year 9 science test being 'unfair'? And you've got 30 half-finished marking piles and a mug of tea that's gone cold but you keep sipping it anyway because what else are you gonna do? Anyway my face was dry and tight from stress and the radiator in my classroom is broken so it's like an arctic tundra in there. I bought this GlimaraFace on a whim from Lumière Beauty Lab and I'm not saying it changed my life but it made my skin feel like a normal human's again. It's not miracle stuff, it's a moisturiser. But sometimes that's enough.

Okay so I have a problem: I cannot buy any product without immediately wanting to take it apart and see if I can improve it. This GlimaraFace was 30% off at Lumière and I had a coupon, so my hand slipped. Anyway, the jar has these little ridges inside the lid that actually trap gunk, but they're easy to clean with a toothpick and a microfibre cloth. The inner seal peeled off cleanly in one piece—satisfying. I even weighed the empty jar to see if they short me on product: 187g full, 72g empty = 115g of cream, which matches the label within 2g. So no complaint on value. The formula itself is perfectly fine, just a basic barrier cream with no fragrance nonsense. I'd give it a higher rating if the lid design didn't have those crevices.

Okay so full disclosure I was having a crap day right? My stream kept dropping frames, chat was being little sh*ts, and I'd just spilled energy drink on my desk. So I slathered this GlimaraFace stuff on my face to feel something and honestly it's fine. It's not greasy, it doesn't smell like a grandma's purse, it just... sits there. I was so ready to rage-review it but the problem is literally just my mood. The cream is innocent. It's doing its job. I'm the problem. It's me. Sorry. Kr*ng.
