I repair vintage electronics for a living. Not that it matters, but I like to think I notice details. This is my fourth bottle of the Soft Brown. First one I got on a whim—dark hair, light brows, you know the drill. The first bottle was fine, but the spoolie was a little stiff. Second bottle? Same spoolie, but the gel was slightly runny. Third was perfect. Fourth? Back to stiff. Consistency is clearly not their strong suit. That said, when it works, it's the best I've found for my oily skin and 12-hour days hunched over capacitors. It doesn't smudge, doesn't flake unless I rub my face, which I shouldn't anyway. I mix it with a drop of water if it's too thick. The color is a true soft brown, not reddish or ashy like some. I'll keep buying it, but I wish they'd standardize the formula between batches. Also, the tube always lasts me exactly 3 months. I counted.

I'm a potter, work from home. I ordered this on a Tuesday because I needed something to keep my brows from disappearing under clay dust. It arrived Thursday. That's fast. I didn't pay for express or anything. The packaging was fine. The gel does what it says. No complaints. Would order again but I'll run out in like six months.

I kept it on the shelf. In my game room. Next to Catan. Expected cheap plastic. But the brush is firm. The gel dries clear. No crust. I'm shocked. It just works. Could cost more? Fine by me.
